What is the lending criteria that Pepper uses that is different from the banks?
Like all home loan lenders, Pepper complies with regulations prescribed by the National Consumer Credit Protection Act (NCCP) used by all lending institutions. Unlike other lenders, who generally rely on automated credit scoring models and the strict credit criteria set out by the Lenders Mortgage Insurers to make a decision on whether to provide a home loan to a customer, we pride ourselves on finding financial solutions for borrowers who fall outside the credit criteria of these lenders by assessing each individual deal on its own merits.
